Creating iSCSI disks in FreeNAS 0.8 with VirtualBox and VMware will be interested and useful for learning purpose. This is my first setup of FreeNAS so I am still learning all of the basics. File transfer speeds are also pretty good over my newly installed Gigabit network. Attached is the screenshot of this. Our old guide used FreeNAS 7, which is great, but the new FreeNAS 8 makes installing plugins for BitTorrent, media streaming, Usenet, and other tasks much easier. I did learn how to create an rc compatible script today but have no idea where to put it so it runs at startup.
